Sudden Valley's amenities include an 18-hole championship Golf Course, the 19th Hole Deli and Cafe, and various banquet and meeting facilities. Recreational opportunities abound; Sudden Valley boasts a marina on beautiful Lake Whatcom, as well as a recreation center, swimming pools, parks, trails, and beaches.

Although it is conveniently close to Bellingham, Sudden Valley functions in many ways as its own unique community.  The Sudden Valley Views, published monthly, keeps residents closely attuned to local affairs.
