DESCRIPTION:We invite community members of all ages to get involved by attending our Planting Party\, planned for Saturday\, October 25 at 9 am. It’s a great way to connect with neighbors\, get your hands dirty\, and contribute to a project that supports environmental stewardship and education. \nLocation: Sudden Valley Welcome Center – 1850 Lake Whatcom Blvd\, SV fGate 2 \nLet’s grow something beautiful\, sustainable\, and educational—together. \nThe Demonstration Garden is a pilot project being offered through the Whatcom County Neighborhood Native Landscaping Program (whatcomcounty.us/nnlp). The goal is to beautify the Sudden Valley Welcome Center property on Lake Louise\, while also preventing stormwater runoff into the lake. Follow the URL below to sign up to attend.
