The 2022 Sudden Valley Annual General Meeting was held November 5th and the results are here. The final tally will go through a certification process that is scheduled to take place Monday, November 7th at the N&E Certification meeting. The uncertified results are as follows:
If more than one owner is shown on the pink envelope, either owner or both owners can sign the envelope. Your choice.
It is too late to mail your ballot to UniLect and be sure it will get there in time. It is safer to drop your signed envelope in the SVCA Ballot Drop Box at the old admin building main entrance. Be sure your vote counts.
A multi-car accident has closed Lake Whatcom Boulevard just north of the 25 MPH speed limit change. Emergency vehicles are on route. Consider taking Lake Louise Drive to Cable Street to avoid.

Sudden Valley Welcome Center
1850 Lake Whatcom Boulevard
The administrative office will be closed for in-person service on Friday, September 30. We will be available for remote assistance via phone or email.
The reason for the closure is that we will be moving to the Welcome Center at 1850 Lake Whatcom Boulevard, just inside gate 2.
In-person service will be resume in the Welcome Center on Monday October 3, with the usual schedule of 9am to 4pm.
Recently, individuals have entered active SVCA construction sites such as the Clubhouse kitchen and the Welcome Center and, when asked to leave, they have responded by saying that as members, “they have a right to be there, since they own the property.” SVCA recognizes and respects the stake that each member holds in Sudden Valley and welcomes their interest and involvement. It is our responsibility, however, to protect SVCA assets and to ensure the safety of members while using them. For that reason, please be aware that no unauthorized person will be allowed to enter an active construction site, regardless of their status as a community member, a Board or Committee Member, or a private individual. Rules of use govern all of Sudden Valley’s facilities and will be followed to ensure the safety and well-being of the community.
The Thursday, September 15th meeting of the ACC was unable to proceed due to lack of a committee quorum. The ACC will reschedule that meeting and it will be announced on the website when that meeting will take place.
