What: a 100′ length of Nighthawk Circle will be blocked off from 8 am to noon for hazard tree removal.

What: Lake Whatcom Blvd will be closed for replacement of the water main where it runs under the road and up a steep slope.

Where: Marigold Dr, entrance to Gate 2 (by Center Condos)
What: LWWSD will be doing routine maintenance on the pipes underneath the road by the Gate 2 entrance. This work will only impact the lane going into Gate 2. Work should take no more than 3 hours to complete, flaggers will be present to direct traffic starting at 9 am and signs are already posted by areas that will be impacted.

| Daytime Road Closure Notice for Lake Whatcom Boulevard Feb. 2-4 January 27, 2021 The Whatcom County Public Works Department will close Lake Whatcom Boulevard between Lake Louise Rd and Cain Lake/South Bay Rd from 9:00am to 3:00pm on Tuesday, February 2, through Thursday, February 4, for long arm mowing and tree clean up. This closure will be in effect for these hours each day for the duration of the project. • Emergency vehicles will be allowed through but should anticipate long delays. • Detour routes will be in place throughout the road closure as well as flaggers on location. • Please use alternate routes when possible and expect long delays. • This project is weather dependent; closure dates and times are subject to change. • Please direct questions to Whatcom County Public Works, Maintenance and Operations at (360) 778-6400. |

There is a car that has broken down in the middle of Spring Road across from the mailbox cluster at the entrance to Gate 3. A tow truck is en route to assist. Please use caution when finding alternate routes.
